Resumen
El diálogo ha sido fundamental en la educación desde tiempos antiguos, con Sócrates como uno de sus primeros defensores. A lo largo de la historia, muchos teóricos han subrayado la importancia del diálogo en el proceso educativo. En tiempos recientes, la investigación en educación ha destacado este elemento como esencial en la interacción didáctica y en el crecimiento personal. La teoría del self dialógico (DST, por sus siglas en inglés) es un marco interdisciplinario que se centra en la naturaleza dialógica del desarrollo de la identidad para subrayar la multiplicidad y dinámica del self. En el ámbito educativo, la dst ha sido aplicada en áreas como el desarrollo moral, la educación multicultural y la enseñanza y aprendizaje en el aula. Una revisión reciente encontró un aumento significativo en las publicaciones relacionadas con la DST en la educación en los últimos años, lo que refleja su creciente influencia en el campo.
